Additional Challenge Rules and Explanations

Master Distributors developed during the Mower Mountain Master Challenge must be first-time Master Distributors in order to award points.

Participants can earn a maximum of 10 points per new Master Distributor Developed- five for the initial qualification month, and as many as five more for each subsequent month of maintained Master Distributor qualification if the initial qualification month is December, 2009.

In order to accrue points or have enrollments count toward Mower Mountain, you must qualify as a Master Distributor during the month in which those points or new Distributor accounts are generated.

Example: If a Master Distributor only maintains their Master Distributor rank status for three of the six months of the qualification period, only the points and enrollments earned during the three qualified months will be awarded.

Distributors who achieve Master Distributor rank for the first time during the Mower Mountain qualification period will be eligible to compete starting in the month in which they attain the rank. These Distributors will not be awarded points retroactively for any enrollments made in months during the qualification period prior to their initial Master Distributor qualification month.

Example: In December, Marcus, who is himself a Master Distributor, develops two 1st level Master Distributors receiving 10 points. One of these new MD’s maintains her rank through May 2010, while the other maintains his rank through January but doesn’t qualify as an MD again until May. Marcus also develops a new MD in March, who maintains his rank through May, and another new MD in May.  Marcus would receive a total of 29 points, which breaks down as follows:
• MD 1, developed in December: 5 points + 5 points= 10 points
• MD 2, developed in December: 5 points + 2 points= 7 points
• MD 3, developed in March: 5 points + 2 points=  7 points
• MD 4, developed in May: 5 points= +5 points
TOTAL= 29 points
